As we were staying at the Ritz-Carlton, we decided that we had to eat in one of their restaurants on one night of our stay. Recommendation from a few reception staff was Li Jiang so that was it. Impressive watching the kitchen 'at work', and we found the service excellent from arrival to finish. Complimentary prawn crackers with an amazing satay dip, 1 bottle of wine (AED 225) was pricey, but expected in the UAE, prawns wasabi, Tom Yum Goong soup, Prawns Thai basil, and fish with lotus leaf/ginger added up to AED 710 (AUD $284). It was certainly one of our pricier meals over 6 weeks of travel, but the service and food were impeccable. Rated at fine dining due to price - and service. Recommended
