Imouto is a really exciting restaurant that has the potential to earn at least one Michelin star. The chef’s skills for plating is unparalleled. There were a few really delicious and clever dishes as it perfectly blends Asian flavours/elements with the French. However, some dishes needed more flavour or preparation - our duck breast had a string of tendon running through the entire piece of protein which made it hard to eat. The wait staff is very friendly and tried very hard to service in English but couldn’t describe many elements of our dish. Many restaurants would train their staff at least in describing the dishes in English Ventilation is poor Upstairs of the restaurant, the fumes of cooking, particularly the greasy smell of frying fish would seep through and affect the overall dining experience
