An absolutely delightful informal bistro with a big focus on French wine. We loved the cosy interior which used reclaimed train carriage interiors for the dining booths, and what appeared to be a vast collection of wine bottles decorating the walls. The atmosphere was very welcoming and we really appreciated bagging the last table available on the evening. Our waiter was very helpful with wine recommendations and brought a range of options in the bottle to our table and described the characteristics. This was really helpful and again delivered in an unpretentious way which made us make a choice that was simply excellent. The waiter also talked through the chalkboard menu which had a strong emphasis on local produce and game. We loved our cheese and charcuterie starter and all of us in our party of 4 enjoyed our different choices for mains. Exceptional highlights were the home made sausages, and the roasted cod with vegetables. Situated in one of the narrow lanes in the old town of Antibes not far from the port and easy to find. We were lucky to get the last available table without a booking on a Friday evening but would otherwise recommend booking in advance.
