We came to this place while walking the Camino de Santiago (Way of St James) during a drenching downpour. When we came across this place on the Camino, we couldn't have been happier, except for when we tasted the empanada, the Galician savory pie, we ordered there. It was the best empanada we ever had, and my husband was a chef from Galicia, so I had tried many empanadas before. We liked it so much that we tracked the place down on our next trip to Spain by using my pilgrim's passport and went again. We got the same amazing empanada, and it tasted amazing, even without the rain! The staff were so nice and so touched by our story that they invited us to our empanada. Worth going out of your way to find this place! Wonderful!
