Sobre Vaso's Mediterranean Bistro

I ate lunch with a friend here recently, at her suggestion. The food was good Greek fare. She had a salad of avocado with crabmeat stuffing. I had chicken souvlaki. It was delicious. Décor is pleasant and service was attentive. The restaurant is in a convenient part of Alexandria, within walking distance of hotels and the King St. Metro station. Only problem was we had to move to another table so we could hear each other. As in so many restaurants now, the walls and floors were hard materials that did not absorb sound,. A nearby table was making a lot of noise.
