After picking you up at the hotel where you are staying, we'll head to the lighthouse in the traditional neighborhood of Barra, one of the most visited places in Salvador.
You will discover the influence of African culture as we enter the city center, walking along the Corredor da Vitória and Campo Grande square. Both represent an important part of Salvador's history. Our expert guide will reveal the secrets and legends behind the monuments and places we pass by.
We will continue along Avenida Sete de Setembro, one of the busiest, until we reach the historic center. In the Pelourinho district, you will visit some of the most beautiful colonial monuments in the city, such as the Igreja de São Francisco, the Palácio de Rio Branco or the surrounding squares.
We will arrive at Elevador Lacerda, one of the most modern constructions in the city. From there, we will be able to contemplate an impressive view of the Bay of All Saints, the second largest in the world.
Finally, we'll head to the Mercado Modelo to see the handcrafted objects that residents have been making for decades.
