In this complete tour of Rio de Janeiro we will discover its most emblematic places. We will visit Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer), Pão de Açúcar (the Sugar Loaf) and see the Maracanã. We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro in the morning to begin the most complete tour of one of the most famous cities in Brazil and around the world.
We will make our first stop at the top of Mount Corcovado, where we will find the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world. From the viewpoint we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the city. From there, we'll head to the base of the Sugarloaf Mountains and hop aboard the iconic cable car. You will be impressed!
We will continue our tour going to the Maracanã stadium, one of the most important in the world. In fact, it was the largest on the planet for a long time and hosted the World Cup in 1950 and 2014. From its exterior, you will remember historic games.
And, obviously, we couldn't miss visiting the Sambódromo, the samba center par excellence. It is an open-air space measuring 550 meters in length, where the world-famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival is celebrated. Incredible!
In addition, we will also visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastião, one of the symbols of the metropolis. This temple stands out for its pyramidal structure, reminiscent of the religious buildings of pre-Columbian America. Afterwards, we'll head to the center of Rio to climb the Selarón stairs and cross the Lapa arches aboard our vehicle, getting to know a little more about the local culture.
During the tour, we will also enjoy a buffet lunch. At the end of all guided tours, we will take you back to the hotel around 5:00 pm.
