Sobre Ipanema Beach, Leblon and Pedra do Arpoador
One of the most iconic beaches in the city, Praia de Ipanema is very popular and frequented by locals and tourists. In general the sea is calm, without very strong waves. There are places to buy food and drinks and the classic street vendors with globe cookies and ice cream! In the left corner of the beach is Pedra do Arpoador, a perfect spot to watch the sunset - and that's why it's usually crowded. Arrive early to guarantee your best spot for the nature show! On the right side is Leblon beach, which is the continuation of Ipanema beach, quieter, with a beautiful view of Morro Dois Irmãos.
