At the chosen time, you will have to go to the historic center of Paraty. The guide will be waiting for you at Praça da Matriz, the starting point of this free tour. Ready to discover all the curiosities of the city? We will! During the tour of the historic center, we will observe the facades of colonial houses and the details of each of them. We will also see the city's historic buildings and the guide will tell us a lot of interesting facts about them. We will see the exterior of the four churches in the historic center, such as the church of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, which was frequented by the rich white men of the time and has two towers that were not completed; the church of Nossa Senhora das Dores, located in front of the sea and which was frequented by the white women of the city; the charming church of Rosário and the church of Santa Rita, one of the main postcards of the city. The city also hides some secrets such as the doors of Paço da Paixão, which are only opened once a year, during Holy Week.
