Sobre San Ignacio Ruins + Wanda Mines with Loumar
The Ruins of San Ignacio Mini, listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, are located 300 km from Foz do Iguaçu, in the Argentine city of San Ignacio (with about 5,000 inhabitants).
The works, built in 1696, are explained by a guide, who tells how was the daily life in the community with Guarani and Jesuit priests. During the tour, the group goes through what were once: the square of arms, the church, the workshops, the cemetery, and all the spaces where the Guarani lived and planted. After the missionaries were expelled, the buildings were abandoned for 130 years and much was lost - both relics and space. Of the 18 hectares of land, today, only eight remain with the ruins. In addition to the guide, a museum brings this little piece of Argentine history back to life.
