Sobre Marco das Três Fronteiras
Each of the cities on the triple border has its landmark - a kind of obelisk - erected in a place that can be visible from other countries. A few years ago, the Brazilian milestone was granted to Cataratas S.A. (the same administrator of the national park), which turned the place into a theme park.
A scenographic city competently reproduces what a Jesuit mission would be. One of the buildings is a cinema, where a short film about the region, the Guarani Indians and the arrival of Europeans is shown in continuous sessions.
After dark there is a light source show and, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 6:30 pm, a folkloric show with dancers from Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
