Aquila Safari Lodge is a 4 star malaria free establishment in the Karoo, situated under 2 hours drive from the city it is the ultimate african safari getaway. The reserve is home to the big 5 legends - elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. There is also a pool bar and cigar lounge available for drinks and snacks. Aquila offers something for everyone, from daytrip safaris to overnight, from horseback safaris to quad bike, a spa facility, children’s entertainment area and lots more.

Day 1
Aquila Private Game Reserve - Southern Karoo
Transfers from your Hotel in Cape Town to the Reserve arriving at Aquila Private Game Reserve at approximately 12h00 with a welcome drink upon arrival.
Please note, should you need collection or drop off from your Hotel in Cape Town, we are able to arrange transfer at extra cost. Alternatively you will self-drive to the reserve.
Buffet lunch included.
You will check-in to your room at approximately at 14h00.
Late afternoon 2-3hr game drive in an open air 4x4 vehicle.
Buffet dinner included.

Please note that the scheduled transfers for overnight guests depart Cape Town between 9am and 10am and the return transfer leaves Aquila at 12h30.
